1q21 EST Table Legend
Table showing the properties of the STSs mapped to the interval
between WI-6908 and WI-11851 on the radiation hybrid map of Hudson et
al.
- Column 1
- STS name
- Column 2
- Accession number. When an STS was derived from a known
sequence present in the GenBank database, the accession number of
the latter is preceded by the database-abbreviation in upper case;
when only a related cDNA or protein sequence could be identified,
the database-abbreviation is given in lower case. For similar
genes or proteins, preference was given to a protein entry,
because similarities are usually more obvious at the protein
level.
- Column 3
- Additional STSs derived from the same gene. When such an STS
is also part of the radiation hybrid map of Hudson et al, it is
shown in upper case; when an STS is present on another type of map
or has not yet been mapped, it is shown in lower case.
- Column 4
- Gene function or similarity. Additional important features,
such as overlap with another gene, are also mentioned.
