The Human Genome Project has sponsered several Chromosome 1 Workshops
in the past few years. These workshops serve as an informal forum for
basic science researchers to present data regarding work related to
chromosome 1, to promote interactions between groups working on
similar topics, and to collect, organize, and disseminate chromosome
1-specific genomic data to the general research community. Specific
information regarding the last five workshops can be found at this
site.
