Our primary mapping projects are in conjunction with the Finland-United
States Investigation of NIDDM Genetics (FUSION) Study, and the
International Type 2 Diabetes Linkage Analysis Consortium.  In both these
studies, we seek to map and clone genes for the adult-onset form of
diabetes.  We carry out linkage mapping based on the combination of
our data or Consortium data together with data available in CEPH.  We
also do some radiation hybrid mapping as needed to help order markers in
regions of high marker density.
