- 5-20-97. The parameter *choose-start-markers* is turned off
and thus this function is not working. If you need to specify a
certain pair of markers to be used as the starting pair, consider
setting *min-start-theta*, *max-start-theta* and *min-start-lod* so
that this pair will qualify (though another pair may also qualify and
could be chosen instead). Also, try editing the chrX.ordh file to
list your two marker numbers as the first two markers in the list
(this file holds the list of markers ordered by heterozygosity). For
this to work you must set *use-joint-pic* to NIL in the chrX.input
file. If neither of these work, send me e-mail
